ABOUT BRIND

This is our story.

We started Brind because we believed there had to be a better way to manage cybersecurity compliance. What we learned along the way shaped not only the platform, but also what we want Brind to become.

Let's get to know each other

1. OUR STORY

It started with NIS2.

When we started Brind, our focus was clear. We wanted to help organizations navigate the complexity of NIS2 and turn regulatory requirements into something they could actually work with.

But as we worked with organizations, consultants and auditors, we started to see a much bigger picture. The challenge wasn't just understanding one regulation. It was how cybersecurity compliance itself was being managed across requirements, evidence, people and audits.

That experience changed our thinking and ultimately shaped the Brind we are building today.

2. HOW WE BUILD

We build by listening.

Some of the most important decisions behind Brind have come from conversations with the people who actually do the work. Organizations, consultants, auditors and cybersecurity professionals continue to challenge our assumptions and help us understand what really matters.

Dr. Daniel Vaczi

CEO, founder

When I founded Brind, my main goal was to create a bridge (a platform) that solves real problems in the ecosystem: supporting (C)ISOs, facilitating cybersecurity compliance, connecting actors, sharing information.

CTO, founder

In developing Brind, my goal is to create a platform that solves real needs and simplifies the management of related tasks as much as possible.

4. WHERE WE'RE GOING

We're only getting started.

We started with NIS2, but Brind was never meant to stop there. Cybersecurity requirements keep changing and differ from country to country. We want Brind to bring these requirements together and help organizations reuse the compliance work they have already done.

Our next step is to make Brind more continuous and proactive. We are working toward a platform that can follow changes in requirements, connect them to an organization’s existing controls and evidence, and show where those changes require attention. We also want to expand Brind AI beyond evidence analysis, so it can support ongoing internal reviews, identify potential gaps and help teams prepare before the next audit begins. The goal is simple: less restarting from scratch and more building on the compliance work already done.

Brind is not just about organizations. From the beginning, consultants and auditors have been an important part of what we are building. Our long-term goal is to bring these different sides closer together, so they can work with the same information, learn from each other and spend less time rebuilding the same work. If we get that right, we believe Brind can make cybersecurity compliance not only easier, but genuinely more useful.
